Holdridge Leather Co. prides itself on only producing hand-crafted, heirloom quality leather accessories in Saddle, Tack, Western, Hunting, Black Powder, Motorcycle Accessories, and Native American Goods & Weapons. Any of our products can be handed down from generation to generation, with proper care. Our Native American Goods are show quality, and are hand-crafted in centuries old traditions.
All of our products are made of premium, hand-selected, vegetable-tanned leather. Vegetable-tanned leather is used to prevent weapon finish corrosion. we also line our products with the softest, most comfortable, vegetable tanned leathers or fleece.
Each item is traditionally hand made and hand sewn with waxed sinew; which does not dry rot with age like the unwaxed, machine sewn, cotton or linen threads used by all other companies, today.
Paul Plant, our Master Craftsman, is a third generation Leather Craftsman and Native American Artisan, with over 30 years experience. He began his Native American Weapons manufacturing in 1970 and his leather apprenticeship in 1974, under the skilled instruction of Master Craftsman/Artisan and Grandfather; founder of this company, Franklin Holdridge. These same centuries old traditions that were handed down to Paul are still alive and will continue through the instructionand guidance in the craft that he is handing down to his children.
