Here, at Holdridge Leather
we collect hides with no unnecessary hunting.  We utilize "road kill" hides, whenever possible.  Most of the hides pictured above and below have been processed from animals that have lost their lives to highway traffic.   Meats that are not acceptable for human consumption are placed away from traffic and become food for many raptors and carrion-eating carnivores, in the area. 
The hides are scraped, cleaned, and processed for use in our shop.

Rawhide Inventory for company use and for sale. 
We have a variety of rawhides, including deer, elk, pig, and cow.
Pricing on rawhides for sale is as follows:
Natural: Small (7 -8 sq.ft.) $50 USD/ea.
Large (20 sq. ft.) $100 USD/ea.
Natural Whitened:  Small $75 USD/ea.
Large $125 USD/ea.
